The Challenge: Aggregate Stableford
On 13 February 2026, twelve players from each of eight established golf societies will face the ultimate test of team depth and consistency. This isn't match play. This isn't stroke play. This is aggregate Stableford—a format that rewards collective performance and punishes weak links.
A team of 12 players per will use the best 8 inividual players scores, these are combined to give an overall team score. A couple of poor cards on the day does not damage the collective score. There's no individual glory without team success, and no team success without every member delivering.
Team captains face strategic decisions throughout the day: managing form, controlling nerves, and optimizing pairings. The format demands depth over individual brilliance. One standout round won't carry a weak team. Consistency across all twelve players separates contenders from also-rans.
